Dave Neighbour Guitar Instructor |

Dave began playing guitar at age 13. He has taught lessons since 1977 at locations such as Simon Music, West Music and the Guitar Shop. His biggest musical influences include The Beatles, Eric Clapton, James Taylor, The Grateful Dead, Santana, Mark Knopfler and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He especially enjoys teaching finger picking styles on acoustic and classic rock/blues riffs on electric. Dave plays by ear, and he tries to teach his students to do this as well. Dave currently plays with Flat Top and has played with bands such as the original Keep Off the Grass and Grey Wolf. |

Kaleb has performed in a variety of musical situations ranging from garage bands, to jazz combos, to theatre pit orchestras, to his progressive rock band West of Eden. He holds an AA degree in music performance from Black Hawk College in Moline, IL and a BMUS in jazz studies from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. He has studied with local musicians such as Scott Whitehall, Paul DePauw, and Don Gustafson. He also regularly travels as an adviser for the National Guitar Workshop. Kaleb currently plays around the Quad Cities area with Pocket Deuces Blues Band.

Joe attended Black Hawk College and studied music theory with Edgar Crockett and bass with Don Gustafson. In his 15+ years of playing experience, Joe has played with local acts such as Seeker, Jupiter Brown and 10 Lb Boots. He has also shared the stage with The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Family Groove Company, Strange Neighbors, Cornmeal, The TriTones, The Dead Kenny G’s, and Drums and Tuba, among others. Some of Joe’s influences include: Stuart Zender, Bootsy Collins, Alexis Skarevski, Rob Derhak, Jaco Pastorius, Bill Dickens, Victor Wooten, Rex Brown and Duff McKagen. |

Al is a 1985 graduate of the Percussion Institute of Technology in Hollywood, CA. He has performed alongside Robben Ford, Frank Gambale (Chick Corea), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), Norman Brown, and an 18-piece big band made up of some of L.A.’s top session players while attending PIT. Nache was a Grand Prize winner of the 1995 Slam-Bam-Bangathon Drum Contest. Al is currently playing with Fusion Intrusion and the Cal Stage Band. |
